We are currently looking into the possibility of offering two photography workshops on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, during the summer of 2008.

These would be five day workshops given by award winning photographer Sally Carpenter  and would be suitable for the novice to intermediate digital or film photographer.

The course would cover, nature, contemporary design, seascapes and portrait photography. It would also include a brief introduction to Photoshop for the digital enthusiasts.

Cape Breton is known for its beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife including moose and black bear and the Highlands National Park, with hundreds of miles of hiking trails, water falls and rivers.

Anyone interested in this workshop should be fairly physically fit and able to hike four to five miles, carrying their own equipment, a packed lunch and water.

You must provide your own transportation.

There will be a choice of accommodations from local B&B's to the high class Island Sunset Resort, prices, including accommodation, breakfast, lunch and tuition start at $1100.00 for five days.

There will also be one room available for accommodation with Sally Carpenter in her ocean front home. This would include all transportation, and pick from Halifax Airport, Nova Scotia. The cost of this would be $1500.00 for five days with a $350.00 single supplement charge if there is more than one person.
